The draft guidance on the prostate tissue ablation devices receives support from the industry trade associations to revise and revisit certain sections of the drafted guidance on the clinical testing recommendation. The details of the guidance were touted by the Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance (MITA) AdvaMed to support the data on prostate tissue ablation devices, which utilizes various energy sources for the destruction or removal of harmful prostate tissue.

Some recommendations and suggestions are being made by MITA and AdvaMed, to add more effectiveness end point regarding the prostate ablation devices, who had also mentioned that more ultrasound devices will be released in future which shall impart a futuristic guidance on prostate ablation devices for ultrasound devices.
